My connection to Raleigh actually goes way back, we went to the same elementary school and I was actually in a couple of classes with her older brother.
But it wasn’t until my younger brother got together (and later married) her best friend that I got the chance to meet both Raleigh and her then-boyfriend Kelly.
These two make an adorable pair, and I could tell after our engagement session together that the wedding was going to be easy and enjoyable. The weather threatened us on the big day but once the ceremony started at Starling Lane the sun broke through the clouds and the rain held off for most of the rest of the day.
I had never been to Starling Lane in the fall and the color palette was totally different but still beautiful as ever. Before heading to the reception at Uvic’s University Club we spent some time at the beach in Gordon Head and were treated with a wonderful autumn color palette on the University grounds.
